Danielle is elated to be working with Three Bone Theatre in the director’s chair for the first time! Danielle graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Directing, Playwriting, and Production. She moved to the Carolinas in 2016 from Syracuse, NY where she worked at the Red House Arts Center for 5 years as a director, stage manager, box office manager, and a teaching artist for Pre-K through 5th grade amplifying core curriculum through artistic platforms. Also, during that time, she worked at the Adirondack Arts Center as their Artistic Associate. Since moving to Charlotte, she has worked with Three Bone Theatre on a number of productions including; Fahrenheit 451, Daffodil Girls, Every Brilliant Thing, Pipeline, and Open. She has since directed with Actors Theatre Charlotte as the director of Ghosts of Bogota, and is directing their production of Evil Dead the Musical in October 2022. “The strongest actions for a woman is to love herself, be herself and shine amongst those who never believed she could.” — Unknown

Lindsey Ferrentino is a prolific playwright who writes with, according to The New York Times, “a muscular empathy which seeks to enter the minds of people for whom life is often a struggle of heroic proportions”. Whether writing about a female burn survivor or the first leading role for a person with Down Syndrome, Lindsey has been called “a brave playwright of dauntless conviction whose unflinching portraits are hard to come by outside of journalism."

Her produced plays include Ugly Lies the Bone (Roundabout Theatre Company, The National Theatre, UK, NYT Critics Pick), the “barrier breaking” Amy and the Orphans (Roundabout Theatre Company), This Flat Earth (Playwrights Horizons), and The Year to Come (La Jolla Playhouse, Roundabout Theatre Company - upcoming). Other plays include Kokomo, Magic Man, Moonlight on the Bayou and Paradise Bar and Grill. Ferrentino is the recipient of the 2016 Kesselring Prize, Laurents/ Hatcher Citation of Excellence, ASCAP Cole Porter Playwriting Prize, Paul Newman Drama Award, 2015 Kilroys List, finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn, Catalyst Award for Entertainment Industry Excellence, NYU Distinguished Young Alumna Award, nominated for the Outer Critics Circle John Gassner Award, and is the only two-time finalist for the Kendeda Playwriting Prize.

She is currently under commission from Roundabout, The Geffen, Manhattan Theatre Club, and South Coast Rep. She holds a B.F.A. from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and has two M.F.A.'s in playwriting from Hunter College and The Yale School of Drama.

Edward Barbanell is an actor and advocate. He has appeared Off Broadway at the Roundabout Theatre Company's AMY AND THE ORPHANS, where Eddie took the lead in 2 shows a week. His breakthrough film performance was in THE RINGER, where he co-starred with Johnny Knoxville. Other film credits include HALL PASS, DUMB AND DUMBER TO and ADDICTED TO FRESNO. His many TV guest star roles include recurring as Charlie in the series LOUDERMILK and as Brad in the Comedy Central show WORKAHOLICS.



In addition to his work in theatre and on screen, he is an advocate and athlete for the Special Olympics and has spoken for the "Spread the Word to End the Word" campaign. In his role as the Special Olympics International Board Director, Eddie was part of a delegation of athletes and self-advocates who were present for President Obama’s historic signing of Rosa’s Law. The law banned the use of “mental retardation” and “mentally retarded” in federal policy, replacing them with people first language “intellectual disability” and “individual with an intellectual disability”.
