Lie. Cheat. Steal. Sell cookies.

Inspired by David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, The Daffodil Girls turns the famous tale of manhood and cutthroat real estate sales into a dark comedy centering on a group of pre-teen girls trying to make their way through cookie sale season for their scout troupe. Far from a gimmick or simply a parody, The Daffodil Girls uses Mamet's heightened sense of super realism as a way to weave a story about young women struggling to find their place and maneuver through an equally as harsh landscape to anything Mamet could imagine: childhood.

What People Are Saying

“…howlingly funny yet sharp and eerily appropriate… it lets the audience’s perspective grow as they get the downright fun opportunity to see a classic reimagined.”

Girls Rock Charlotte is a nonprofit that amplifies the confidence of ALL girls and women through the power of music. Their music and film summer camp programs help girls and gender diverse youth to find the confidence and compassion to stand up for themselves and for each other. Their goal is to also feature women leaders, musicians and professionals who serve as mentors and role-models for the campers and volunteers. As a proud Charlotte-based organization, GRC aims to raise the public profile of our local musicians and artists, while also supporting a community that supports women in music.
